Saturday……Yay for Saturdays! Today was a pretty amazing day 🙂 The weather was overcast and a little rainy, but not enough to stop me from adventuring.

After I roused my ass out of bed, I thought I’d better start with some food. And food here, is….well, pretty damn tasty. I found a restaurant called Coppertop Bar-B-Q in Fredonia, Ky. The entire drive was backroads; old farm buildings, narrow roads, fields and animals – I think I drove like 50 mph, just to look around….lol…..but that wasn’t an issue, traffic was sparse. It was a nice small place that was kept beautifully.

The menu was excellent with lots of things to choose from. Since I was STARVING, I settled on the Ribs-n-Chicken combo with 2 sides; coleslaw and baked beans. Now when I think of a meat combo meal, I think of a couple of ribs and one (or a couple) piece(s) of chicken – NOT TWO PLATES…..lol!!! Everything was fantastically heavenly. The BBQ sauce was a little sweet, with a little spicy at the end – perfect. The chicken was SO juicy and tender and the ribs were exquisitely delectable – just WOW. Needless to say, this fat kid DID NOT clean her plate(s) – sure as hell gave it a good shot though!

Great way to start my day!
