Welcome to my adventure! This is about the stage of my life as an empty nester. I have two amazing kids; Cheyenne who is 23 yrs old and Dominic who is 18 yrs old. I’ve raised them as a single parent for 18 of the 23 years. They are both wonderful, independent young adults and they will both prosper at whatever they choose to do – my heart couldn’t be happier.

Dominic will go to college the fall of 2022 and I’ve decided to sell my house, live in Airbnb’s for a while and settle in the south…..as in Chattanooga, TN area south …..woohoo, milder winters for this lady!! I’ve been in the Midwest my entire 46 years and need a change. As I told a close friend of mine, “I want the air to smell different!” (Hence: NewAir)

The US is a big place and we often get stuck where we are, now I’m not saying everyone, just some. Some chose to stay, cool with me – you do you. I’ve decided to go and experience different stuff….food, people, environments, places, and who knows what else I’ll find 🙂 I’m so excited!!

I’ve never done a blog before and barely know what I’m doing……lol, so I ask for patience from you, my friends, as well as suggestions, thoughts or any comments that you may have – well, nice ones anyways. I am a very sarcastic person and like to keep it real and I can’t guarantee that all of my posts will be “clean” or not contain some profanity – keep that in mind as you join me.
